Contemporary and inspiring from the tumultuous life of the end of XIX from Eastern Europe, Caragiale and Shalom Alechem have many common literary areas, that individualize them culturally and this performance individualizes these symbolic approaches. The transitions between the two literary worlds is created by train travel, conveyance that revolutionised the everyday life of that era, but also central literary theme for both authors: socialisation, knowledge, escape and amusement.
